I couldn't figure out how to use the snail knife (you can see it in the first photo). The knife did not cut, but tore the film, so I had to wrap its edges.

Then I figured it out, adjusted the blade (lowered it lower), and here is the result.

The covering film is very thin, it is difficult to work with it. I think it's all about lack of experience.
