In a previous article, I showed the result of sanding a primer applied to a car body. In this article I will show how I protected the seams (welded joints) of body iron.

For sealing, I used NOVOL GRAVIT 620 polyurethane-based sealant. I already talked about it in one of the articles.

Joint sealant NOVOL GRAVIT 620

I liked the tool. The consistency is like sour cream, only thicker. More like honey. Grey. I bought in a liter container, under the brush. It is a little difficult to apply, as the sealant is viscous and does not spread well. I still did not dilute it, in order to get a thicker layer.

The sealant was thoroughly rubbed with a brush into the joint itself, and then additionally applied along this joint, as if stroking it, making it a monolith.

That's all. In the next article I will apply an anti-corrosion coating.
